Call (202) 225-3121 and ask to be connected to the office of your Representative or your Senators (you can also look up their direct numbers using your zip code here)
When you get connected:
1) Tell the staff member that you want energy legislation to build a truly clean energy future. Tell them that we want to ‘Repower America’ with 100% clean electricity in 10 years. We must end our addiction to carbon-based fuels.
- This means we immediately need Members of Congress to renew the tax incentives for wind and solar energy investments and protect more than 100,000 jobs in 2009.
- Repowering America with 100% clean electricity will boost the economy, improve national security and reduce global warming pollution — let’s get going!
- And if you want to inspire them further about how we can ‘Repower America’, you can ask them to support the following key initiatives:
- A unified national grid to deliver clean electricity efficiently from wherever it is generated to wherever it is needed.

How many of us believe that drilling more oil is the way past our economic problems. It not only sets us back but it reignites the problems that we have with global warming. Our country was very much pro the ten year plan and it even got our candidate leaders attention, but now because of the over powering oil companies that message has been a thing of the past and is now back to more over seas drilling. We need to stand up for what we believe in and take action. Look how a month ago you could not go without seeing an environmental concern add on television, now they are far and few between, who do you think is in charge of that??? Please everybody join WE so that our children’s children can have a future.
